The ISDA Master Agreement is the standard documentation regularly used to govern over-the-counter derivatives transactions. The ISDA Master Agreement is the underlying contractual framework for all Transactions entered into on the Green Tiger Markets marketplace.

Published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc., this documentation outlines the terms to be applied to one or more derivatives transactions between two parties.

In this session, Oliver Pearson (Head of Asia Pacific for Green Tiger Markets) was joined by guest speaker, Rafael Morales (Managing Partner of Morales & Justiniano) to guide participants through the basics of the ISDA documentation framework, including:

• The universe of ISDA documentation
• What is close-out netting and its importance under the ISDA Master Agreement
• Selected aspects of the ISDA Master Agreement
• Application of Philippines’ laws to derivatives transactions
